fuel float level in carb

Hello,
I want to know what the correct fuel level in a MD21 NX250 should be.

I want to measure it from outside with a clear tube.
Here is what I mean, for example another cabr.

I haven't tried that yet. I'll have to measure it when I get the chance. I only know the instructions from the workshop manual.

Yes I know the instructions. They are about the fuel height in theory. I would like to know it in practice.

Hey,
took out the carb, kept it together with my hands while let it fill with fuel, and then quickly removed the bottom and compared it to a reference. Nearest I could get to the actual level.
Or you could drain the fuel and measure it in a cup.
