A very good day friends,
As the titel says, here the updates will be posted.
The family consists now of two NX250s.
One did run when buying and didn't afterwards.
This one seemed very interesting because of the wheel mod and lifted rear spring. While I don't have much time at the present, little by little I want to look into this one and make it perfect again.
A few weeks later we bought another mermaid.
Truly in love with this one. It has custom painted fairing and you can see it has been loved and well taken care off.
I think it has original springs? It does have a 17inch rear wheel on a standard wheel hub and the spokes are painted black.
It runs great.
The only minor point I can find is that they removed the luggage rack and even so by grinding of the most rear attachment points.. most likely to make it look clean. Since we want to go traveling with, I will need to custom make a new construction to fit a attachment so the pannier rack can be firmly attached to the bike.
Unfortunately I can see with this newer one that the first one is in a really other state of being and it shows it had a life before coming to us.
Let's give it some love.

The second one is very nice indeed - and the previous owner apparently knew what he was doing because he installed a bandit shock - much better than the way too soft origional one.
pics would be good - maybe someone has an ideaStreamcruiser hat geschrieben: ↑Di Jul 20, 2021 11:14 am The only minor point I can find is that they removed the luggage rack and even so by grinding of the most rear attachment points..
