NX250 front brake disc

Hi, I had to change my brake disc because it was veiled (Don't know if it is the correct English word !).
I bought a KYOTO one.
Original bolts are 4 M6 x 100, 17 or 18 mm long
Problem the disc holes are 10 mm diameter. I cannot put 6 mm bolts in a 10 mm hole ! It seems that almost all the after market discs has 10 mm holes.
Did any one had to change his disc and wich bolts did you use.
I went to a motorcycle dealer yesterday and they did not manage to find correct bolts from pro-bolt catalog.

This is the original Honda bolt that will fit on NX wheel and 10,5 mm aftermarket disc.

I’m afraid that you can’t use the 10mm disc on your hub.

There have been two different versions. From 88-89 the disc was attached with bolts with a 10mm collar. And from 88-94 the collar was 6mm. That overlap puzzled the manufacturers of aftermarket brake discs which often get that wrong.



EBC has the correct brake discs:

EBC MD6001D https://www.ebay.de/sch/i.html?_from=R4 ... _PrefLoc=2
For AX-1 NX 250 J / K / R / R3 89-94
Ø holes: 6,5mm

EBC MD6008D https://www.ebay.de/sch/i.html?LH_PrefL ... +&_sacat=0
For NX 250 J / K MD21 87-90
Ø holes: 10,5mm

Now the problem is that also the hubs have different hole diameters. The hubs for 6mm brake discs have also 6mm holes – so even with 10mm bolts you can’t attach the 10mm disc. Unless you bore 10mm holes into the hub, which I would not recommend. On the pic is a hub for 10mm bolts.

Well it appears tha I bought the wrong disk version. I'm disapointed because it is new and was only 45 €.
I asked the seller if he would take it back but I doubt it. I will see.
