My forks protector ( GUMMIBALG in german ) on my NX250 from1990 are damaged, maybe it's easier and more efficient to replace them by a neoprene model with a velcro, like this one:

I'm preparing my NX250 for a long trip.
Which neoprene protector model would be the best for my NX250 ?

Thing with those neopreen ones is that they tend to trap water/moisture on the inside. Unless you're checking every now and then that might lead to corrosion without you noticing before it is to late; when the forks start to leak oil.
Personally I don't like the slim look of the neopreen ones, it makes the forks look even thinner and more fragile. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder
